The German version (Nutzungsbedingungen) is legally binding and shall prevail in the event of any conflict or discrepancy with this English translation, which is provided for informational purposes only.

1. Scope

These Terms are an English translation of the German Nutzungsbedingungen for the Nabid In Motion Study Hub operated by Md Shahabub Alam · Nabid In Motion, c/o flexdienst – #21465, Kurt-Schumacher-Straße 74, 67663 Kaiserslautern, Germany. By accessing the Study Hub you accept the German Nutzungsbedingungen. No paid contract is created and no right to permanent availability of specific content arises.

2. Nature of the service

The Study Hub provides free educational material about machine learning and related topics for general information only. The Study Hub itself is free. We do not sell courses, subscriptions, or digital goods on this website. We may offer optional voluntary support (Buy Me a Coffee, PayPal Tip Jar) and affiliate links (e.g. Amazon Influencer Shop and Related book recommendations in the reader). Tips and affiliate purchases do not unlock extra Study Hub content or support obligations. Additional revenue from online content may come from third-party platforms (notably YouTube AdSense and Facebook). Those platforms have their own terms and privacy policies.

Content is not legal, tax, career, medical, or investment advice. It is not clinical diagnosis, therapy, or counseling. It is not agronomic or farming instruction. It does not replace review by licensed professionals, for example in engineering or teaching. Domain track materials teach machine learning methods for people from other fields. They are not a separate professional degree and not a license to practice.

3. Open source, accuracy, and use at your own risk

Curriculum source material (markdown lessons) is published separately under the MIT license in the Road to Machine Learning repository and may be viewed, forked, and redistributed there. This Study Hub (code, design, layout, curation, and presentation) is not MIT-licensed. Its source repository is private and not publicly released. See LICENSE.txt on this website. Despite careful editing, errors, gaps, outdated statements, or incomplete explanations may occur.

We do not warrant that all content is at all times complete, current, error-free, or suitable for your specific purpose. You use this site at your own risk and on your own responsibility. Verify information, code, and recommendations yourself before relying on them in study, employment, production systems, or legal decisions.

4. Content, source, and changes

Content is synced from the public repository Road to Machine Learning.

You acknowledge that content may evolve over time and that this does not create a claim for damages.

5. No warranty

All content is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free presentation. Code examples and notebooks are learning material, not production-ready or audited solutions. To the extent permitted by law, no implied warranty or guarantee is given.

The optional Study chat shows retrieval excerpts from published lessons when matches exist (local keyword and similarity search in your browser). It is not generative AI, not personal advice, and not a substitute for the linked lesson. Matches may be incomplete or out of context. Optional in-lesson recall self-checks are study aids only, not exam or professional advice. See the Impressum and Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of liability

Liability is unlimited only for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is limited to breach of essential obligations and foreseeable typical damage. We are not liable for damages from relying on learning content, technical failures, loss of browser-stored progress (localStorage), outdated information, or third-party linked content.

7. No outcome guarantee

We do not guarantee learning outcomes, exam results, job offers, or career progression. Using the Study Hub or subscribing on YouTube does not create a training, employment, or advisory relationship.

8. Learning progress and notes (localStorage)

Read markers, bookmarks, confidence ratings, focus time, optional lesson notes, local practice answers and open misses from practice packs, Daily Mix, and skill assessments (including optional Architecture sim and Debug case submits that write into those same on-device practice fields), and Big-O Bouncer snack prefs on Play (streak, unlocked waves, path milestones, on-device miss queue) are stored locally in your browser only. Derived displays (for example the Skill map) are computed on your device only. Architecture sim and Debug case are simplified learning playgrounds. They are not production or network simulators and not professional advice. They are not a certification and not proof of professional qualification. We do not back up this data on our servers. Progress and notes may be lost when switching browsers, clearing storage, changing devices, or after updates. Export, import, and PDF export (via your browser’s print dialog) are provided for on-device use, without warranty.

You may optionally build and download a calendar file (.ics) on this device from your current Finish-by estimate. The file is created in your browser and is not sent to us. It is not a progress Backup. After you import it, calendar apps (for example Google or Apple) may store or sync the data under their own terms. Dates and times in the file are estimates only. There is no schedule or success guarantee.

You may optionally protect progress on this device with a passphrase (browser Web Crypto only). We never receive your passphrase or decrypted progress, and we cannot recover protected data if you forget the passphrase.

We may discontinue or replace the Study Hub or this website at any time. You have no right to permanent availability or recovery of locally stored data. You are responsible for backup and export on your device.

Local learning records and Progress Tokens

Learning-progress displays, exports, and local confirmations generated on this website (including “Learning proof” and cryptographically signed local proofs, together “Progress Tokens”) are private documentation aids created by the user on their own device only. They are not a state-recognized certification, academic degree, professional qualification, or official examination certificate. You must not present these exports as an official qualification, accreditation, or certification on CVs, job applications, or professional networks (for example LinkedIn). An informal, truthful mention of private self-study remains allowed where it is clear that no accredited certificate is claimed.

The Path Photocard (optional name or photo composited into a PNG on Play) is the same class of local practice image. It is not a certificate and does not guarantee a job, salary, visa, or hiring outcome. Name and photo used for that download are not stored by the site.

The Study Photocard (optional name or photo composited into a PNG from on-device reading progress on Continue or under Progress tools) is the same class of local Learning Milestone Snapshot. It is not a certificate and does not guarantee a job, salary, visa, or hiring outcome. Name and photo used for that download are not stored by the site.

9. External links and third-party content

Links to GitHub, YouTube, Facebook, and other services lead to third-party content. Those providers are solely responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, and privacy practices. Linking does not imply endorsement, recommendation, or warranty.

External destinations may change, redirect, go offline, or show different content at any time. We do not continuously monitor linked pages. If we become aware of legal issues or broken links, we will remove or update those references where reasonable.

Curriculum text in the Road to Machine Learning repository is under the MIT license in that source repository where stated.

11. Changes to the Nutzungsbedingungen

We may update the German Nutzungsbedingungen at any time. The current binding German text is published on the Nutzungsbedingungen page. This English page is updated as an informational translation. Material changes may trigger a notice on your next visit. Continued use after publication constitutes acknowledgment where permitted by law.

12. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction for disputes with merchants is Berlin. Mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence remain unaffected.
